Brian (a Heavy Construction Superintendent originally from Queens) and Eva (a Graphic Designer from Long Island) met on November 16, 2011. Brian had recently bought a house in Babylon and joined match.com to meet dates in the area. They met at the Post Office Cafe and knew very quickly there was no one else
Brian and Eva went to Costa Rica for the first time. They had the most amazing, adventurous experience. Costa Rica became their "heaven on earth." They went 2 more times and also traveled to Ireland, Miami, Germany, Prague, Dominican Republic and Mexico. Traveling is their passion!
After being together for about a year Brian asked Eva to move in. The same weekend Eva moved in the infamous Super storm Sandy hit. They ended up losing the first floor of the house along with furniture and belongings. Brian along with his talented father Chris demolished and reconstructed the whole first floor. Eva's brother Sean installed the tile and finishing work. They have lived together for 2 years now and love every moment.
On December 9th, 2013 Brian and Eva went to PA to pick up the 3rd addition to their family - Robert Moses. He is a Hypo-allergenic Siberian Cat. He is their little ball of fluff and brings them happiness and joy every day.
On February 9th - their 3rd trip to Costa Rica - Brian asked Eva to marry him on their favorite beach during the sunset. Of course Eva said yes! Eva had no idea he was going to propose - talk about romantic. They love being engaged and can't wait to tie the knot!
Eva and Brian will have a full Mass held at St. Joseph catholic church. This quaint church is located just a few minutes down the road from their house in Babylon.

The reception will be held at The Allegria Hotel in Long Beach. The cocktail hour will begin on the rooftop bar at 6:00pm. Guests will then be escorted downstairs to the ballroom for the reception which will be held from 7:00pm-11:00pm.

The celebration will continue at the after party! It will take place at the hotel bar, where we will have a closed off section to ourselves.

There will be a shuttle picking up from the Allegia at 1:00pm. The Shuttle will take those that do not have a car & anyone else who wishes to ride to the church. After the church ceremony it will take everyone back to Allegria.
The Allegira is our recommendation for the night of the wedding. We have a special room rate of $329 USD (Must be booked by June 10,2015). When calling please say it is for the "Farello/Doherty Wedding". The Allegria (15 minutes from JFK) is located directly along the boardwalk on the beach. They have an upscale restaurant, bar, fitness center, rooftop pool, deck and lounge area. The beach has private access as well as chair, umbrella & towel service. Shops, restaurant, bars and bike rentals are located less than 1.5 miles away. The train station (LIRR) is a 2 minute taxi ride. It will have you in NYC in less than 40 minutes. Long Beach is the perfect area to vacation if you decide to extend your stay.

The Long Beach Hotel is another great place to stay. We have a special rate of $189 USD (Must be booked by June 15, 2015). When booking please say it is for the "Farello/Doherty Wedding". This hotel is located 5 blocks from the Allegria. You can get a cab there from the front desk of the Allegria at the end of the night. It is located one block from the beach & boardwalk - it has a great casual bar/restaurant. Shops, restaurants, bars and bike rentals are located less than 1.5 miles away. The train station (LIRR) is a 2 minute taxi ride. It will have you in NYC in less than 40 minutes. Long Beach is the perfect area to vacation if you decide to extend your stay.
